Transit has completed the supply and installation of an intrusion and access control system that integrates gate barrier control and secure door access across the site. The solution is designed for controlled entry, reliable intrusion detection and smooth day-to-day operation, with each access point configured for accuracy, stability and long-term performance.

One System From Gate to Door

Many sites protect their perimeter, vehicle entrances and internal doors with separate systems that do not talk to each other. Bringing them together gives security teams a single, consistent way to manage who can enter, where and when.

In this project, our team integrated:

• Gate barrier control – vehicle entry is managed through barriers linked to the access control system. See our gate barrier systems.

Why Integration Matters

When intrusion detection and access control work together, the system can automatically arm or disarm areas based on authorised access, link alarm events to specific doors or gates, and give operators a clearer picture of what is happening on site. It also reduces duplicated hardware and simplifies maintenance.
