Canon's VB-R series covers outdoor PTZ domes for sites that need to follow activity over a wide area. The VB-R13VE and VB-R12VE are 2.1 MP Full HD cameras with 30x optical zoom and continuous 360-degree pan. They are housed in an IP66 and IK10 rated body, so they are protected against weather and impact. They run on PoE+, record to an onboard SD card if the network drops, and include auto-tracking analytics. The VB-R13VE adds audio and alarm inputs and outputs for linking to sirens, lights or door contacts.
A 30x zoom lets one camera check vehicle details across a car park or loading yard, then pull back for an overview.
