The AXIS F101-A XF P1367 is a fixed 5 MP camera inside a certified explosion-protected housing. It is built for areas where flammable gas or dust may be present. According to Axis, it is certified to ATEX and IECEx for Zone 1 and Zone 21, with an operating range of -50 to +60°C and IP66 protection. It has a 2.8 to 8.5 mm varifocal lens and runs on PoE, so a single network cable carries power and video.
Typical sites include oil and gas facilities, fuel depots, chemical and paint plants, grain and powder handling, and pharmaceutical production. The camera helps operators watch processes, loading bays and walkways without sending staff into hazardous zones. Choosing hazardous-area equipment is only half the job: cable glands, routing and earthing must also meet the zone rules.
