The AXIS XP40-Q1765 is a PTZ camera inside an explosion-proof stainless steel housing. It covers hazardous areas where one fixed view is not enough. Axis lists Full HD video, 18x optical zoom and 360-degree pan. It is certified for use in Class I and Zone 1 locations, with an Ex d IIB+H2 T4 marking. Operators can sweep across a process area, zoom in on a valve or gauge and set presets for routine patrols.
This is useful on refineries, offshore and onshore oil and gas sites, tank farms, chemical plants and fuel terminals, where a single PTZ can replace several fixed cameras.
