This category covers Hikvision cameras for two kinds of tough environment: areas with explosive gas or dust, and places where salt, chemicals or humidity eat away at normal camera bodies. The explosion-proof models use 316L stainless steel housings certified to ATEX and IECEx for gas and dust zones. The anti-corrosion models use stainless steel or reinforced polymer bodies to resist rust in coastal and chemical conditions.
In the UAE, these cameras are relevant for oil and gas sites, ports and marinas, desalination and water treatment plants, chemical stores, fertiliser plants and coastal properties.
