Hikvision underwater cameras are network cameras sealed to work under water continuously. The DS-2XC6224G0-L is a 2 MP model rated IP68 for continuous use at depths of up to 15 m, with fixed lenses and white-light illumination. For deeper installations, Hikvision lists the DS-2XC6225G0-L, rated to 50 m. Both stream over the network like any IP camera, so they can be recorded and viewed alongside the rest of a CCTV system.
Common uses include swimming pools and water parks, for lifeguard support and safety monitoring. They also include aquaculture tanks and fish farms, aquariums, water intake structures, dams and research facilities. For pools, cameras are often placed to cover the deep end and blind spots that are hard to see from the poolside.
