Hikvision's EasyLink Wi-Fi kits combine Wi-Fi cameras with a matching recorder in one box. That makes them a quick way to add CCTV where running network cables is difficult. Depending on the kit, there are 2 MP or 4 MP cameras with a 4 or 8-channel Wi-Fi recorder (NVR or NVS). Newer kits use Wi-Fi 6, and the system pairs by scanning a code in the Hik-Connect app. Video records locally, so the system keeps recording even if the internet goes down.
These kits suit small shops, cafés, villas, farms, site offices and rented premises where drilling and cabling are not allowed. Each camera still needs a power supply. Real Wi-Fi range depends on walls, distance and interference, so Hikvision's open-area figures will be shorter indoors. Transit surveys the site to check signal strength and places the cameras and recorder for a stable link. We set up the app for remote viewing and push alerts. See our security camera systems page or the Hikvision camera kit range. Speak to the Transit team about availability and pricing.
