Hikvision's panoramic cameras, sold under the PanoVu name, use several sensors in one housing to create a stitched 180-degree or 360-degree view. Many models also include a PTZ camera, so the operator can watch the whole scene and zoom in on detail at the same time. One example is a 180-degree, 16 MP PanoVu model (DS-2DP1618ZIXS-DE/440) with four panoramic sensors and a PTZ with 40x optical zoom.
One panoramic camera can replace several fixed cameras on a large open area, with fewer poles, less cabling and no gaps between views. That makes these cameras a good fit for car parks, plazas, stadiums, ports, logistics yards, airports and city junctions. Smaller multi-sensor models also cover warehouses and large indoor halls well. Transit chooses the mounting height and position for the best stitching and coverage. We set up the PTZ presets and auto-tracking and connect the camera to the VMS and video wall. See our CCTV systems and indoor surveillance pages, or the Hikvision network camera range. Send us your requirements and Transit will come back with availability and a price.
