Hikvision PT series cameras are compact network cameras that can pan and tilt, but they have no long optical zoom like a full PTZ. A typical example is the DS-2DE2C400SCG-E, a 4 MP indoor model. The operator, or the camera itself in some models, can turn it to look around a room or yard. That way, one camera covers what might otherwise need two or three fixed ones.
PT cameras sit between fixed cameras and full PTZ domes on both price and capability. They are a good fit for shop floors, receptions, small warehouses, villa gardens, classrooms and site offices, where you want to look around now and then but don't need to zoom in on detail far away. Many models work with the Hik-Connect app, so the owner can move the camera from a phone. Transit positions PT cameras so their range of movement covers the important areas, and we set preset views and a home position. We connect them to the NVR with the other cameras. See our security camera systems and CCTV systems pages, or the Hikvision network camera range. Contact Transit and we will check availability and send a quote.
