The Ultra Series is Hikvision's top tier of PTZ speed domes. It is aimed at long-range, high-detail coverage on large sites. Models combine DarkFighter low-light imaging with strong optical zoom (up to around 42x on 4K models) and long-range IR. They also include deep-learning analytics for people and vehicles. Housings are typically rated IP67 for outdoor use. Specific models change over time, so we confirm the current model for each project.
Ultra PTZs suit ports, airports, industrial complexes, city surveillance, highways, borders and large campuses. On these sites, one camera may need to read a vehicle or identify a person hundreds of metres away, day or night. They also pair well with radar or thermal detection, which can send the PTZ straight to an alarm. Transit chooses mounting heights and poles that give a clear view and stay stable in wind.
