Hikvision's Value Series PTZ cameras offer the main PTZ features at a lower cost than the Pro and Ultra lines. A typical model is the DS-2DE4A425IWG-E: a 4 MP speed dome with 25x optical zoom, IR illumination, DarkFighter low-light imaging and 120 dB WDR. It also has smart tracking, which follows a moving person or vehicle automatically. It is rated IP66 for outdoor use.
For many commercial sites, that is all a PTZ needs to do: watch a car park, a loading bay, a school playground or a building forecourt, and zoom in on something worth checking. Value PTZs are often used alongside fixed cameras, so the fixed cameras record the whole scene and the PTZ supplies detail when an operator or an alarm calls for it. Transit selects the mounting point and bracket and configures presets, patrol tours and tracking. We connect the camera to your NVR or VMS and to alarms from other cameras.
