RTI handheld remotes and touchpanels use rechargeable battery packs that wear out over time, which shows as shorter run time between charges. This page lists the replacement packs for current and older RTI models, including the T1 and T2 families, the T2x, T3x and T4x, the ISR-2 and ISR-4 remotes and the Pro24 touchpanels. Transit supplies replacement batteries and can service RTI control systems it maintains.
The T2i battery has been discontinued and replaced by P/N 40-210742-20, which is now compatible with the T2i, T4x, T3x, and T2x, as well as the new ISR-4, ISR-2 remote controls.
