The Samsung QP series is QLED 8K signage, sold as the QP82R-8K and QP98R-8K. Each has a 7680 x 4320 pixel panel. Samsung lists a typical brightness of 500 nits with HDR support, a 16/7 operating rating and four HDMI inputs. The 82-inch model can be mounted in landscape or portrait. The 98-inch model is landscape only.
The extra detail shows when people stand close, as in car and property showrooms, galleries, design studios, luxury retail and executive briefing rooms. Content matters here, because 8K source material makes the most of the screen, while upscaled 4K still looks very good.
