Samsung's KMC-W is a 24-inch self-service kiosk that runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, not Samsung's own Tizen. That is useful when your ordering, check-in or ticketing software is already written for Windows. Samsung lists a Full HD capacitive touch screen and a choice of Intel processors (Core i3, Core i5 or Celeron, depending on the model), with 256 GB of storage.
Typical uses include quick-service restaurant ordering, hotel and clinic check-in, visitor registration in offices and ticket collection at venues. Kiosks like this can cut queues and free staff for other work, but only if the software, payment and receipt printing are set up properly. Transit installs the kiosk, connects it to the network and power and works with your software provider to get the application running. We can also arrange the floor or wall mount and provide ongoing support. See our interactive digital signage page or the Samsung interactive display range.
