The WAD series is Samsung's current interactive display for education and training. It comes in 65, 75 and 86-inch 4K sizes (WA65D, WA75D and WA86D). It runs Android with Google certification, so teachers and trainers can install familiar apps from Google Play. Samsung lists 400 nits of brightness, infrared touch with up to 40 points and passive pens. There is a front USB-C port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and an OPS slot for an optional Windows module.
In a classroom, that means one board for lessons, annotation, video and student work, and the content doesn't need a separate PC. Several students can work on the board at once. In corporate training rooms, the same features support workshops and presentations. Transit installs WAD boards on fixed or height-adjustable mounts and connects them to the school or company network. We set up screen sharing and device management and train staff to use them. See our interactive boards for classrooms page or the Samsung interactive and touch screen range. Send us your requirements and Transit will come back with availability and a price.
