Samsung's IF series is its fine-pitch indoor LED range. Pixel pitches run from about 1.5 to 2.5 mm (for example the IF015R, IF020R and IF025R). That makes it suitable for screens viewed from a few metres away, not just across a hall. The cabinets are designed for indoor use, and many models can be serviced from the front, which saves wall space where there is no rear access.
At these pitches, an IF wall works for corporate lobbies, boardrooms, control rooms, broadcast studios, retail flagships and conference venues, where people need to read text and fine detail. An LED wall also avoids the seams of an LCD video wall and keeps an even brightness across the whole picture. Transit plans each project from the viewing distance and content.
