Samsung's outdoor LED cabinets are built for screens that stay outside all year: building façades, roadside billboards, stadium boards and shopping centre entrances. The XPR and XHB series use pixel pitches of roughly 6 mm to 16 mm. Samsung rates them at 7,000 nits or more, which keeps them readable in direct sun. Many models carry an IP66 rating against dust and heavy water, and Samsung quotes operation up to around 55°C for the XHB.
Pixel pitch for outdoor work depends on how far away the audience is. A façade screen seen from across a road can use a coarser pitch than a screen at a mall entrance. Transit handles the parts that decide whether a screen lasts in the Gulf: the steel structure and wind loading, ventilation, surge protection, remote monitoring, and brightness schedules that dim the screen at night.
