Samsung's QLED 8K signage, the QPR-8K range, shows 7680 x 4320 pixels. That is four times the detail of a 4K screen. The 82-inch model can be mounted in landscape or portrait. The 98-inch model is landscape only. Samsung lists HDR support, a 16/7 operating rating and four HDMI inputs. The extra resolution is most noticeable when people stand close: in showrooms, design studios, galleries, executive briefing centres and flagship stores.
There is a catch: an 8K screen only shows its full detail with 8K content. Upscaled 4K looks very good, but it is worth planning the content before the hardware. Transit can advise on sources and media players and set up cabling for 8K signals. We also handle installation and content scheduling. For 24/7 use, we would usually recommend a different series. See our digital signage solutions and indoor display solutions pages, or the wider Samsung range. Contact Transit and we will check availability and send a quote.
