Not every screen needs to be big. Samsung's small and specialty signage includes compact Full HD displays for counters, shelves and meeting room doors. Examples are the 24-inch QB24R-B and the 13-inch QB13R-T touch display. There are also kiosks and other formats for places where a standard TV-shaped screen will not fit. The small models run Samsung's Tizen platform with a built-in player, so they need only power and a network connection, either Wi-Fi or a cable.
Typical uses include price and promotion screens at a till, menu displays in cafés, room booking panels and wayfinding points in clinics or offices. Because there are often dozens of these screens on one site, remote management matters more than the display itself.
