The QE98C is Samsung's 98-inch 4K signage display. It is aimed at spaces where one large screen does the job of a small video wall, without the bezel lines. Samsung lists a VA panel with 3840 x 2160 resolution, 450 nits of brightness, 5000:1 contrast and a 16/7 operating rating. It has four HDMI inputs, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and 2.2-channel speakers. The Quantum Processor 4K upscales lower-resolution content. The display runs Samsung's Tizen platform, so content can play from the built-in player.
At this size, the screen works well in boardrooms, training rooms, hotel ballrooms and showroom feature walls, where people view it from across the room. A 98-inch panel is heavy and awkward to handle, so wall strength, access routes and the mounting method need checking before delivery. Transit surveys the site and supplies the right mount.
