The QMB series sits in the middle of Samsung's previous-generation 4K signage line. Samsung lists sizes from 43 to 75 inches, 500 nits of brightness and 24/7 operation. That makes it a step up from the QBB for screens that stay on all day. It uses a 4K VA panel and the Tizen 6.5 platform, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RS-232 and network control. Samsung also states IP5x dust protection, which helps in dusty or semi-open areas.
The QMB is well suited to retail promotion screens, airport and metro information displays, hospital waiting areas and corporate lobbies. Brightness matters in these places, and the screen should not need a rest. When several QMB screens run from one content management system, the menus, prices and notices across a site can be updated from a single desk.
