The QMR series is a 4K smart signage display built for all-day use. Samsung specifies 500 nits of brightness, 4000:1 contrast and a 24/7 operating rating, with the Tizen platform and a built-in media player. It is an older series that many sites still run, and it is often chosen to replace screens in an existing QMR estate so every screen on the site still matches.
It suits shopping centres, airports, banks, hospitals and offices, where screens carry information or promotions from opening to closing time and beyond. Many installations use MagicINFO or another content management system, so playlists can be scheduled and screen status checked remotely.
