Z-Wave is a wireless communication standard designed for home automation. Devices from many manufacturers that carry the Z-Wave mark can talk to each other through a mesh network, so light switches, dimmers, shutter controls, door locks, thermostats and sensors can be managed from one hub. The standard is promoted by the Z-Wave Alliance.
For homes in the UAE, Transit uses Z-Wave where a wireless system makes more sense than a hard-wired one, for example in finished apartments or for gradual upgrades. We choose compatible devices, plan the mesh so every device has a reliable connection, and set up the hub, scenes and app control.
