Khalidiya Mall wanted reliable Wi-Fi for shoppers across the whole building, plus a sign-in page that helps the mall learn about its visitors and reach them with offers.
We supplied, installed and configured a Huawei network built around 56 Wi-Fi access points, a core switch, eight PoE access switches and a Huawei USG 6000E firewall with advanced threat protection, all managed from Huawei's cloud platform. On top of it we set up a captive portal, so visitors sign in once and the mall gets useful footfall insight and a direct channel for promotions.
What we delivered:
- 56 Huawei Wi-Fi access points across the mall
- A Huawei core switch and eight PoE access switches, with SFP uplink modules
- A Huawei USG 6000E firewall with advanced threat protection
- Central management through Huawei's cloud platform
- A captive portal sign-in page for visitors
The work was finished in July 2026. Transit also installed the CCTV system at Khalidiya Mall.
