This page covers Samsung's VM55T-U (VMT-U), a 55-inch Full HD video wall panel with a built-in smart signage player. Samsung specifies an IPS panel, 500 nits of brightness, a 3.5 mm bezel-to-bezel gap and 24/7 operation. It also has IP5x dust protection and supports daisy-chaining of panels for very large walls, up to a 15 x 15 grid.
The built-in player means many walls can run directly from Samsung's content software, without a separate controller for every job. That keeps costs down for retail, hospitality and corporate signage walls. For control rooms with many live sources, a dedicated controller is still the better route.
