Tesla is an American electric vehicle and clean energy company headquartered in Austin, Texas. Besides its cars and Supercharger network, it sells the Wall Connector, an AC charger for homes, apartment car parks and destination sites such as hotels and offices, which can also charge other electric vehicles depending on the connector version.
Transit installs Wall Connectors as part of home and building EV charging projects. We survey the parking space and electrical supply, check the load the building can take, run cabling and protection, mount and commission the charger, and set up Wi-Fi for updates. Shared car parks can use several units with load sharing.
