TOA Corporation is a Japanese professional audio manufacturer founded in Kobe in 1934. It is best known for public address and voice evacuation systems, paging microphones, amplifiers, ceiling and horn speakers, and intercom equipment used in schools, shopping centres, transport, mosques, hospitals and industrial sites.
Transit designs and installs TOA systems for announcements, background music and emergency messages. We divide the building into zones, select speakers for each area, size amplifiers and cabling, and set up paging stations and scheduled announcements such as school bells. Where needed, the system can be linked with the fire alarm so evacuation messages play automatically.
